Heart flooded with gratitude for these @uva besties (aka The Arkettes) after an epic girls' trip to NOAH'S ARK.

Eight months ago, I texted this scholarly crew to ask: Was the biblical flood global or regional? And how big was the Ark, really?

My phone began blowing up with links to podcasts, top-notch research from @thebabylonbee and other academic sources, and the occasional skincare hack (because at age 600, Noah had to have had a few wrinkles). Before we knew it, we were headed to KY to find out for ourselves @arkencounter !

I'll be sharing more of our findings in the days to come, but I'll leave you with one wisdom nugget, gleaned from my PhD-holding mom @art_by_claire_2024 :

"Of course the flood was global! How else would the Ark have wound up in Kentucky??"

We're thanking God for Indiana Louise and the gift of cousins, dear friends, and great-grandparents on hand to dedicate her to the Lord & welcome her to the household of faith. We love you, Indie Lou, and we can't wait to watch God's hand on your life as you grow! 💕

Even the strongest marriages go thru seasons of heartache, and I love the Psalm 34 promise of God's presence with us in the pain. He is so very faithful. 🤍
